Why is the marker clogging or skipping?

• The paint has dried around the tip
  Dried paint can partially block the marker tip and interrupt paint flow. Wipe the tip clean before use and avoid leaving the marker uncapped for long periods.
• The paint has not been mixed thoroughly
  Pigments can settle during storage. Shake the marker thoroughly before use to help restore an even paint consistency.
• The tip is not sufficiently saturated
  If the tip is too dry, the marker may skip or produce uneven lines. Gently press the tip as instructed to allow more paint to flow into it.
• The marker has been stored improperly
  Long-term exposure to heat, direct sunlight, or improper storage may affect paint flow and cause drying around the valve or tip.
• Dried paint or debris is blocking the tip
  Dust, dried paint, or residue picked up from the working surface can interfere with paint delivery. Keeping both the tip and surface clean can help prevent this.
• The surface is rough or highly textured
  Rough surfaces can prevent the tip from maintaining consistent contact, resulting in broken or uneven strokes.
• Pressing too hard can affect paint flow
  Excessive pressure may overload or damage the tip and lead to inconsistent application. Use light, controlled pressure while painting.

If the marker continues to clog or skip, shake it thoroughly, clean the tip, and re-prime it to restore paint flow. Always keep the cap securely closed when the marker is not in use to help prevent the paint from drying out.
