Can I use any compressor with my airbrush?
We recommend using an airbrush-specific compressor that provides stable airflow and adjustable pressure . Not every air compressor is suitable for direct use with an airbrush. In addition to having a compatible 1/8" BSP air hose connection , the compressor should be capable of delivering stable working pressure and continuous airflow suitable for airbrushing. Ideally, it should also include pressure regulation and moisture filtration to help prevent spraying problems caused by pressure fluctuations or moisture entering the air line. Industrial air compressors are not recommended for direct connection to an airbrush. If one must be used, additional equipment such as a low-pressure regulator, water separator, and oil/air filtration system should be installed.

Product Questions
How do I set up my airbrush and compressor?
Connect your 1/8" BSP air hose securely between the compressor outlet (or moisture trap) and the airbrush base inlet. Plug in the compressor and turn the power switch ON. Set your compressor regulator to your desired working pressure (15 - 25 PSI for general airbrushing). Attach your paint cup, pour in thinned paint, and test spray on a scrap piece of paper before working on your project.

Product Questions
How noisy is an airbrush setup?
Modern dedicated airbrush compressors are remarkably quiet: Standard desktop units (like the GTS-06 or GT-918) operate between 47-52 DB, which is equivalent to a quiet indoor conversation, a dishwasher, or a household refrigerator. They produce zero structure-shaking vibration and can easily be used in apartments, shared living rooms, or during late-night hobby sessions without disturbing others.

Product Questions
Why air pressure feels inconsistent
First check the compressor, regulator, hose connections, and air supply for pressure fluctuations or leaks. If the upstream supply is stable but airflow through the airbrush remains inconsistent, inspect the air valve for contamination, sticking, or damage.

Product Questions
Why is pressure not reaching the set level?
Check that the 6L tank drain is fully closed, inspect hoses and fittings for significant leaks, and make sure the compressor’s air intake is unobstructed. Also check the compressor oil level and condition. If the unit still cannot build pressure, stop using it and contact Gaahleri support.

Product Questions
Why does the GTX-778 overheat or shut down?
Overheating can be caused by restricted ventilation, operation in an enclosed space, insufficient or degraded compressor oil, or unusually heavy continuous load. Switch the unit off, allow it to cool, check the oil level and condition, and make sure ventilation is unobstructed. Contact Gaahleri support if overheating continues.

Product Questions
Can it support multiple users or workstations?
Yes. Its expandable multi-output system is designed to support multiple connected airbrushes and collaborative studio workflows, provided total airflow demand remains within the compressor’s capacity.
