Assembling The Mobius-TG

Once dry, let’s reassemble the unit.

First, insert the trigger and the needle chucking guide. Ensure the guide is at the correct angle so the trigger pull feels smooth and linear. Insert the spring and screw in the spring sleeve.

Slide the needle in from the front to the back. Place the nozzle in, then secure the nozzle cap and your chosen air cap (Fan or Round). Gently push the needle from the back until it seats firmly in the nozzle—never force it. Tighten the needle chucking nut, screw on the hollow handle, and you’re ready for the next session.

Disassembling The Mobius-TG

Trigger-style airbrushes have a few more moving parts than standard top-levers, so take your time during disassembly.

Start by unscrewing the hollowed-out handle. You will see the signature Mobius loop—loosen the needle chucking nut here to release the needle. Pull the needle out slightly, then unscrew the air cap and the nozzle cap to retrieve the Mobius Signature Nozzle.

Crucial Step: Once the nozzle is out, push the needle forward and remove it from the front of the airbrush. Pulling it through the back risks dragging paint into the trigger housing and damaging the 0.5mm tip.

Next, unscrew the spring sleeve to remove the internal spring and chucking guide. If you need to remove the trigger itself, ensure you handle the pivot pins with care. If you are soaking parts, remove all rubber o-rings first to avoid corrosion.
