How to clean the Aventus?

We recommend cleaning your airbrush every time you switch colors or when you finish a session. Dried, cured paint damages the airbrush, so it is vital not to skip this step.

To clean the Aventus, start by pouring out any excess paint left in the fluid cup, then pour in the appropriate airbrush cleaner.

Next, block air from coming out of the nozzle. You can do this by covering the air cap with the provided rubber cap, pinching the 0.2 mm fine-line air cap with your index finger and thumb, or placing a piece of tissue over the wide air cap with your index finger. Then, slowly press down and pull back the main lever to start the reverse-flow process.

This process agitates and dissolves the paint stuck inside your airbrush, staining the clear cleaner with leftover color. Reverse-flush for about 10 seconds, then pour or spray the dirty cleaner out. Repeat until the cleaner runs completely clear.

For a deep clean, we recommend fully disassembling the Aventus.

We also recommend using an ultrasonic cleaner filled with an airbrush cleaning solution.

Crucial: Always remove all rubber O-rings before soaking, as cleaning solvents can damage them over time.
