Before we begin, let’s look at what’s in the box. The GHAD-39 includes the GHAD-39 airbrush body, two detachable Smooth Level Gravity Fluid Cups (1/2oz and 1/4oz), and a 0.35mm needle and nozzle pre-installed. We recommend cleaning the airbrush every time you switch colors, or when you have finished using it. Dried paint is the enemy of the GHAD-39’s precision design, so don't skip this.

Next, block the air from coming out of the nozzle using the provided rubber cap or your finger. Slowly press and pull back the trigger to start the reverse flow process. This agitates and dissolves paint stuck inside the 8 Micro Air Channels. Do this for about 10 seconds, then spray the cleaner out. Repeat until the liquid is clear.

For deep cleaning or when switching between the 0.35mm and 0.5mm setups, you’ll need a full disassembly.

Start by unscrewing the Cutaway Handle and loosening the needle chucking nut. Pull the needle out slightly, then unscrew the air cap and nozzle cap to retrieve the nozzle.

Crucial Step: Once the nozzle is out, push the needle back in and remove it from the front of the airbrush. Never pull the needle through the back; this prevents the tip from dragging paint residue into the trigger mechanism, which is vital for maintaining that smooth GHAD-39 feel.
