How do I adjust the spray setting on the Mobius 0.3mm for finer lines?

Product Questions

How do I adjust the spray setting on the Mobius 0.3mm for finer lines?

For finer lines, start at the lower end of the recommended pressure range, around 15–25 PSI, and use a light, controlled trigger pull to reduce paint flow. Work closer to the surface while keeping your hand movement steady. Properly thinned paint and a clean needle and nozzle will also help improve fine-line control.

What can I do if the main lever of the Mobius 0.3mm sticks?

Product Questions

What can I do if the main lever of the Mobius 0.3mm sticks?

Inspect the spring tension through the rear cutaway handle window. If the spring sleeve tension is set incorrectly or debris is trapped in the sleeve, return action will feel sluggish.

Why does my Mobius 0.3mm spray unevenly or with overspray?

Product Questions

Why does my Mobius 0.3mm spray unevenly or with overspray?

Uneven spraying or overspray with the Mobius 0.3mm is usually related to  excessive air pressure, improper airflow adjustment, paint condition, paint buildup on the needle or nozzle, or spraying distance . For fine detail work, we recommend starting at  15–25 PSI , while  25–40 PSI  can be used as a reference for broader coverage. Adjust the precision air control knob gradually based on paint viscosity and paint flow. Dried paint on the needle tip, a partially clogged nozzle, or paint that is too thick or poorly mixed can also cause unstable atomization and an uneven spray pattern. Spraying from too far away or using too much paint can further increase overspray. We recommend first checking the working pressure, airflow adjustment, needle and nozzle cleanliness, and paint viscosity, then fine-tuning the spraying distance and paint flow as needed.

Are there any unique maintenance steps for the Mobius 0.3mm airbrush?

Product Questions

Are there any unique maintenance steps for the Mobius 0.3mm airbrush?

Yes. During deep cleaning, take extra care with the needle and nozzle components. After removing the air cap, nozzle cap, and nozzle, carefully remove the needle through the front of the airbrush. This helps prevent the needle tip from hitting internal components and reduces the chance of dragging paint residue into the trigger mechanism. Never force the needle during removal or reassembly. The Functional Cutaway Design can also be used to inspect and adjust trigger spring tension when needed.

What should I do if Mobius 0.3mm air comes out but no paint?

Product Questions

What should I do if Mobius 0.3mm air comes out but no paint?

First, make sure the needle moves backward when you pull the trigger. If the needle is moving normally but no paint comes out, check the 0.3mm nozzle for a blockage. Clean the nozzle carefully and make sure the paint passage is free of dried paint or residue before testing again.

Why does Mobius 0.3mm airbrush pattern look distorted?

Product Questions

Why does Mobius 0.3mm airbrush pattern look distorted?

Check the 0.3mm needle tip for a bend, hook, or other damage. Even a very small deformation can cause the spray pattern to become lopsided or distorted. If the needle appears damaged, replace it before continuing to spray. It is also a good idea to check the nozzle for dried paint or visible damage.

Why does Mobius 0.3mm paint stop spraying mid-session?

Product Questions

Why does Mobius 0.3mm paint stop spraying mid-session?

Paint stopping mid-session is usually caused by tip dry or a partial clog in the nozzle or paint passage. Check the needle tip for dried paint and clean it with a brush and a cleaner or thinner compatible with your paint. If the problem continues, perform a quick reverse-flow flush to help clear paint residue from the internal fluid path.

What should I do if the Mobius 0.3mm main lever sticks?

Product Questions

What should I do if the Mobius 0.3mm main lever sticks?

This is often caused by paint residue inside the cavity or an incorrectly aligned needle chucking guide. Disassemble the handle and verify the chucking guide plate is seated at the correct angle.
